As well as providing care, we also aim to provide all of our residents as much comfort and convenience as possible.
We allow residents to bring their own furniture for home-from-home comfort, as well as allowing some residents to bring their small pets into the home.
All modern conveniences are also provided such as Television points, Telephone points, Mobile Phone access and Internet Access (WiFi).
We provide 24 hour care to adults who are unable to manage at home without support, we offer specialised and individual person centered care plans so staff are able to meet those needs.
We also offer choice and encourage our service users to make own decisions that are respected.
Service users are provided with a choice of two options at mealtimes which our cook will go round with a list daily, we provide a well balanced and nutritional diet that caters for special diets also like diabetic, gluten free etc if there is anything on the menu that you do not like we will always be happy to provide an alternative.
We are a 24 hour service and understand that the times you can visit can vary we do not have visiting times and should you only be able to come during mealtimes we would ask if you could wait awhile until they finish their meal. You are also quite welcome to join them for a meal if you would just let us know beforehand.
We are a small friendly care home who offers support and assistance to all who wish to reside here and extend that to their relatives as well.

Mr Mohammed Asaduzzaman (Asad) is the director of this company. He is a young British Bangladeshi entrepreneur who is passionate about providing care for elderly. He has a FAQ level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.
He believes that entrepreneurs who are honest, dedicated and passionate about care should come forward to contribute on the society.
Currently Chamber Mount is one of the best care homes in Oldham, but his aim is to make it the best care home in the region.
We have a long history of official inspections from the Care Quality Commission and are proud of the results that our staff team have achieved. We strive to offer our residents excellence in all areas.

Our deputy managers, Christine McCarthy and Madia Nadeem, have worked at Chamber Mount for quite a few years now. They started their career as care assistants, moving onto be senior care assistants, and now deputy managers.
Our team comprises of care assistants, chefs, housekeepers, senior care assistants, and deputy managers besides our registered manager. Most of our staff members have been a part of our team for quite some time now. We encourage progression within our own team as we believe hard work and dedication must be appreciated. All our staff members do exhibit care, compassion, competence, communication, courage, and commitment towards all our residents.
All of our staff members are trained to a high standard, and they exhibit dedication in providing the best and quality care to all the residents at the care home.
Our aim is to provide a warm, comfortable, safe, and friendly environment for all the residents we care for.
Our dedicated chefs allow us to cater for individual needs and preferences, including specific cultural and religious dietary requirements. Our chef, Joan Ingham, has been working here for more than 17 years, preparing, serving, and meeting our residents’ wants and choices at all times. In order to provide the best possible care and support to all our residents, we have a group of staff members from different ethnicity and background thus also promoting equality and diversity at work.

Hi,
My name is Rohit Fredric Joseph, and I am the registered manager at Chamber Mount, run by New Chamber Mount Limited, Oldham.
From my early days itself, I was very fond of getting involved in activities which focused on caring and supporting people who are in need, especially elderly people. During my college and university days, I got associated with various NGOs who were connected with running camps like blood donation, eye checks, etc. I also participated on a regular basis, raising funds for the aged through an organization called Help Age India.
This passion, to care and support the elderly, made me to choose a career path in social work, MSW (Master of Social Work). I completed the program specializing in medical and psychiatric social work. Initially, I was registered with GSCC (General Social Care Council) and HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) as a qualified social worker but decided to move onto work in the residential care setting.
In the health and social care setting, I started my line of work as a care assistant, slowly progressing to be a senior care assistant, and then to be a deputy manager. I also had the opportunity to work in the education and training sector where I was employed in the beginning as a NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) assessor and then moved onto be a health and social care tutor as well as an education and training advisor. This gave me an opportunity to work alongside few colleges in North Wales and Northeast, delivering health and social care qualifications up to level 5.
In my professional career, I also had the chance to work in the domiciliary care setting, as a deputy manager as well as a branch manager, for two different companies, each managing around 100 plus branches in the country. The last home care company where I worked was graded outstanding by CQC (Care Quality Commission).
Besides my master’s degree, I hold national vocational qualifications as well as assessing and teaching qualifications alongside other health and social care credentials.
Working in the health and social care sector gives me an opportunity to provide care, support, and compassion to those in need, making a meaningful impact on their health and well-being. I believe that the sense of fulfilment and satisfaction that comes from helping others is unparalleled.
The main purpose of Chamber Mount Residential Home is to provide care which respects, values and gives a high quality service promoting the dignity and respect of all our residents. We will meet the standards set out in the code of practice, providing a service which inspires trust and confidence in our residents and their families.
We aim to meet the needs of all our residents of various nationalities and their religious beliefs.
Regular monitoring of the service will be carried out as stated in the code of practice. Regular reviews will take place as stated in the care plans or should a change occur. There will be regular feedback to both residents and relatives, creating a system which will evaluate the quality of the service we provide.
