We provide 24 hour care to adults who are unable to manage at home without support, we offer specialised and individual person centered care plans so staff are able to meet those needs.

We also offer choice and encourage our service users to make own decisions that are respected.

Service users are provided with a choice of two options at mealtimes which our cook will go round with a list daily, we provide a well balanced and nutritional diet that caters for special diets also like diabetic, gluten free etc if there is anything on the menu that you do not like we will always be happy to provide an alternative.

We are a 24 hour service and understand that the times you can visit can vary we do not have visiting times and should you only be able to come during mealtimes we would ask if you could wait awhile until they finish their meal. You are also quite welcome to join them for a meal if you would just let us know beforehand.

We are a small friendly care home who offers support and assistance to all who wish to reside here and extend that to their relatives as well.

Mr Mohammed Asaduzzaman (Asad) is the director of this company. He is a young British Bangladeshi entrepreneur who is passionate about providing care for elderly. He has a FAQ level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.

He believes that entrepreneurs who are honest, dedicated and passionate about care should come forward to contribute on the society.

Currently Chamber Mount is one of the best care homes in Oldham, but his aim is to make it the best care home in the region.

Our Staff Team

Chamber Mount is a well-established care home for over 35 years, and it has a reputation of long-term staff retention.

Our deputy managers, Christine McCarthy and Madia Nadeem, have worked at Chamber Mount for quite a few years now. They started their career as care assistants, moving onto be senior care assistants, and now deputy managers.

Our team comprises of care assistants, chefs, housekeepers, senior care assistants, and deputy managers besides our registered manager. Most of our staff members have been a part of our team for quite some time now. We encourage progression within our own team as we believe hard work and dedication must be appreciated. All our staff members do exhibit care, compassion, competence, communication, courage, and commitment towards all our residents.

All of our staff members are trained to a high standard, and they exhibit dedication in providing the best and quality care to all the residents at the care home.

Our aim is to provide a warm, comfortable, safe, and friendly environment for all the residents we care for.

Our dedicated chefs allow us to cater for individual needs and preferences, including specific cultural and religious dietary requirements. Our chef, Joan Ingham, has been working here for more than 17 years, preparing, serving, and meeting our residents’ wants and choices at all times. In order to provide the best possible care and support to all our residents, we have a group of staff members from different ethnicity and background thus also promoting equality and diversity at work.

Our team have and maintain excellent working professional relationships with health professionals like district nurses, diabetic nurses, specialist nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, mental health team, general practitioners, nurses, commissioners, etc. We do hold a strong reputation for providing exemplary quality care to all our residents.

  • Recent CQC Inspection Results We are very proud to announce that after our recent inspection all areas within our home have been rated as Good with an overall rating of Good also. We would like to thank everybody for their support to help us achieve this.
  • Residents Have Ball Fun Our residents were recently taking part in having a friendly game of basketball within the home. Residents regularly take part in various in-house activities to help keep a tired mind and soul refreshed. We have some photographs in our image gallery!

The main purpose of Chamber Mount Residential Home is to provide care which respects, values and gives a high quality service promoting the dignity and respect of all our residents. We will meet the standards set out in the code of practice, providing a service which inspires trust and confidence in our residents and their families.

We aim to meet the needs of all our residents of various nationalities and their religious beliefs.

Regular monitoring of the service will be carried out as stated in the code of practice. Regular reviews will take place as stated in the care plans or should a change occur. There will be regular feedback to both residents and relatives, creating a system which will evaluate the quality of the service we provide.
